Armed Robbery Awareness

  • In today's society armed robbery is a fact of life and can happen to any person in any location:
  • Robbery is the unlawful taking of property, without consent, accompanied by force or threat of force from a person or organization.
  • All retailers and licensed premises should be aware of the impact that an armed robbery (hold-up) can have on their business and on the health, safety and welfare of staff, customers and themselves.
  • Our armed robbery awareness training aims to provide potentially life-saving information and training that will reduce the risk, or at least minimize the impact, both human and financial of armed robbery.

The main aim of this program is to

  • Show that armed robberies are a real and regular occurrence in today's society.
  • Taking proper precautions will reduce the risk of being involved in an armed robbery.
  • Regular armed robbery awareness training will reduce the risk of you or someone else being injured or killed if you are involved in an armed robbery situation.
  • Protecting the crime scene will help the police identify the offenders and bring them to justice.

This is a one-day interactive workshop. While it is not designed to scare people, it will realistically identify the dangers of making the wrong moves during an armed robbery. Robbery and its inherent dangers cannot be sugar-coated.
