ACOCI Social Media Workshop 4 - Facebook and LinkedIn for business
About this workshop
This is a two part session and focuses on how to create customised Facebook pages that harnesses the power of Facebook. There are over 800 million users on Facebook and this session shows how companies can tap into the power of crowd sourcing to attract customers to their business. The session will also focus on the following: effective Facebook profile, Facebook Groups and fan pages, Polls, Facebook Ads and social plugins. The session will end by looking at some case studies of effective use of Facebook.
In the second hour of the session we look at how LinkedIn is used by professionals. Use LinkedIn to connect to professionals who would otherwise be interested in your business offerings. As one of the largest professional networking sites, LinkedIn is used by organisations to engage with like-minded professionals and specific audiences. The session will show how to build an effective professional or organisation profile on LinkedIn and demonstrate how LinkedIn is used to provide lifelong learning among professionals.
